12:00 – 1:00 WOOLY - is a unique band made up of four like-minded musicians based out of Whitby, Ontario. WOOLY embodies more than just beautiful ideas, they fill the heart with raw eclectic sound surrounded by mournful vocals. They are capable of conveying gut-wrenching emotion without sounding disingenuous.
Their unique writing process allows each member to experiment as they see fit tackling the metaphysical, existentialist issues of life and growth in a globalist society. Socially aware, fun loving and insightful can describe WOOLY's personal side, although their music transcends into a haunting mix of sound and story through imagistic lyrics that are delivered with a stream of consciousness. WOOLY also has a quietude which contributes to their writing, performing and producing some of the most introspective work. Always managing to deliver on every shade and hue in the range of human emotions, WOOLY expresses pain, love and complications of life on earth.
Harboring more than simply being a band; their individual investment and love of music comes from their close relationships they share as best friends, which in turn transcends into something wildly distinctive.
WOOLY blends vocal harmonies, and explores new sounds complimented mainly by instrumentation including guitar, ukulele, keyboard/synth, drums, and bass. WOOLY's songs are sure to resonate in the minds of their listeners created by Amika Vie, Jonah Kissoon, Alex Tarsitano and Chris Caceres.
