2018 SPEAKERS AND ENTERTAINMENT
Lectures 2nd Floor - Games Room
12: 00 – 1:00 Sheree Nicholson - How to get your protein without eating animal products. I write a column in the Brooklin Town Crier on plant based foods and as well do plant based protein tours for Farmboy, I'm often in the flyer promoting plant based eating. I would love to do a presentation on how to get your protein without eating animal products. I use research, humor and knowledge in this presentation. Can you get adequate protein is the burning question. Here's a link to a past issue of the Town Crier
1:00 – 2:00 Cassandra Blonde - Cassandra Blonde is an experienced mother and housewife with 20 years under her belt. According to her children she is very loving, supportive, and great at her job; her daughter says "She's always been the strongest person I know and is exactly what I believe a mother should be". Her oldest son Adam says, "She's raised us to be respectful of others, but not complacent with people abusing their authority". Her younger son Evan says, "Mom and I didn't always get along, but now we have a very close relationship. We're all very proud of her". Her daughter has moved out to be a successful, independent woman—she is self-supporting and has no debts. Cassandra's most recent successes include losing over 100 pounds, regaining her health, and riding a bike for the first time in 20 years
2:00 – 3:00 Charlotte Caunter – Conquering an unexpected diagnosis of cancer at the age of 32 through diet. In 2011 I experienced an unexpected diagnosis of cancer at the age of 32, a couple years later I then I lost my best friend to cancer. When that happened I knew it was time to grab life by the ovaries and make some magic, I decided to leave my career in Mental Health and become a Certified Health & Nutrition Consultant and a Certified Raw Food Chef. Since then I have founded a company called Health Shero where I now educate, empower and inspire women to be their own Health Shero. The holistic health world can be very overwhelming, my services help simplify that process for my clients.
I work with clients 1:1, through workshops, webinars, and retreats. When it comes to our health no one is coming to save us. But here is where the magic comes in, when we step into our power with grace and become our own health Shero we inspire our loved ones to do the same! I love what I do and I am so passionate about empowering as many women as possible.

12:00 – 1:00 WOOLY - is a unique band made up of four like-minded musicians based out of Whitby, Ontario. WOOLY embodies more than just beautiful ideas, they fill the heart with raw eclectic sound surrounded by mournful vocals. They are capable of conveying gut-wrenching emotion without sounding disingenuous.
Their unique writing process allows each member to experiment as they see fit tackling the metaphysical, existentialist issues of life and growth in a globalist society. Socially aware, fun loving and insightful can describe WOOLY's personal side, although their music transcends into a haunting mix of sound and story through imagistic lyrics that are delivered with a stream of consciousness. WOOLY also has a quietude which contributes to their writing, performing and producing some of the most introspective work. Always managing to deliver on every shade and hue in the range of human emotions, WOOLY expresses pain, love and complications of life on earth.
Harboring more than simply being a band; their individual investment and love of music comes from their close relationships they share as best friends, which in turn transcends into something wildly distinctive.
WOOLY blends vocal harmonies, and explores new sounds complimented mainly by instrumentation including guitar, ukulele, keyboard/synth, drums, and bass. WOOLY's songs are sure to resonate in the minds of their listeners created by Amika Vie, Jonah Kissoon, Alex Tarsitano and Chris Caceres.
